Tree-trimming, vegetation removal and power line upgrades begin in PGE Right Of Ways Safety is PGE’s No.1 priority. That’s why, throughout the year, we trim and remove trees and other vegetation near our equipment and along power line Rights Of Way. This helps us deliver safe, reliable power to you and your neighbors by avoiding downed lines and outages. With hotter, dryer summers becoming more common, the risk of wildfires are increasing. This summer, we are doing our part to reduce wildfire risk by maintaining a safe distance between our equipment and vegetation – especially within our power line corridors. We will be increasing our presence and are expanding our hazardous tree removal program to clear dead, dying and diseased trees. In advance of this work, we have coordinated with the U.S. Forestry Service team on permitting requirements to address any environmental and operational concerns. We will continue to work closely with the USFS in managing debris and any wood associated with this work. In addition to the tree and vegetation work, our line crews will also be inspecting and mreaking upgrades to our equipment to ensure they are up to our standards. Construction Details: Much of the Right Of Way is located along one-way roads heading in and out of mountain communities. For safety purposes, we will have intermittent lane closures while accessing these sites with large vehicles. Our crews will make every effort to minimize these disruptions, but they are likely throughout the summer, especially when working on hazardous tree removals. We appreciate your patience when traveling through work zones, and remember to stay clear of crew operations when work is taking place nearby your location. Anticipated work hours: • Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. •

To expedite our work and accomplish, crews may need to work on Saturdays as late summer months tend to have more fire risk days. • Tree trimming efforts are expected to continue into the fall, but our work is restricted when fire levels increase. Thank you for your patience as we work to ensure safe, reliable power.
