The purpose for which the Mt. Hood Forest Homeowners Association is organized is to represent the interests of the Cabin Permit Holders in the Mt. Hood Forest by:

A. Being an advocate for MHFHA interests;

B. Providing an open process by which all members of the Association may involve themselves in the affairs of the community;

C. Maintaining and enhancing the livability of the area by establishing open lines of communication and liaison between the community, government agencies and other associations;

D. Initiating and furthering projects and activities which will enhance the livability of the community;

E. Representing the interests of the MHFHA members for educational, scientific, and charitable purposes;

The most recent amendments to the MHFHA bylaws were made and approved at the Annual Meeting on June 23, 2007.

On June 27, 2015 the membership voted and approved the following bylaw change in regards to the Article on Membership and Dues and it has been incorporated into the bylaws. In 2015/2016 the board will thoroughly review the entire bylaws and discuss and suggest changes that will be presented to the members for their approval in June of 2016 at the annual meeting.
